Detailed Eligibility:
Overman:
- Valid Overman’s Certificate issued by DGMS
- Valid Gas Testing Certificate
- Valid First Aid Certificate & Overmanship Certificate of competency granted by DGMS
OR
- Diploma in Mining Engg of 3 years duration from a recognized institute with valid Gas Testing & valid First Aid Certificate.
- Overman’s competency certificate obtained from DGMS
Dy. Surveyor (Mines):
- Matriculation with Surveyor Certificate of Competency granted by DGMS valid for working in Coal Mines only.
- Preference shall be given to Diploma holder with above qualification of competency
Age Limit(As on 01.06.2017): Minimum Age limit: 18 years
Maximum Age limit:
- 30 years for General Candidates
- 33 years for OBC candidates
- 35 years for SC/ST candidates.
Post wise vacancies: 18 Posts

- Dy. Surveyor (Mines) – 1 Post
