Educational Qualification:
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- Diploma in Engineering / Technology in full-time granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government/University/Institutions in the relevant discipline

- Full-time graduate degree granted by a recognised university/institution in a relevant discipline.

Training Period: 01 year
Other Eligibility Requirements:
- Diploma / Graduate candidates who have passed the qualifying exam in 2023 /2024 /2025 are only eligible.
- Candidates should not have undergone or be presently undergoing Apprenticeship Training elsewhere.
- Candidates should not have experience of one year or more in any job.
- The Degree or Diploma should have been obtained from a Board / University. Certificates issued by private bodies will not be considered.
Age limit (As on 27 October 2025):
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: 18 – 24 years
- Graduate (Degree) Apprentices: 21 – 26 years
Age Relaxation:
- Relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC.
- Candidates belonging to PWD Categories shall be given age relaxation upto 10 years (upto 15 years for SC/ST and upto13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates.
Stipend:

Selection Process of NIOT Careers:
- The selection process will be based on the candidate’s performance in the walk-in interview
- If the number of candidates is more, the Selection Committee shall adopt its own criteria and shortlist the candidates for walk-in interview in proportionate to the available vacancies.

Interested and eligible candidates can attend the walk-in interview along with their filled-in application form in the prescribed format, original and self-attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, proof of date of birth (copy of SSLC/HSC), Aadhaar Card, and a passport-size colour photograph on 27 October 2025 (10.00 AM – 1.00 PM). The Candidates appearing for the walk-in interview must register in the NATS portal and their enrolment number should be quoted in the application.
