NBA Recruitment 2023: The National Bio-Diversity Authority has announced an online notification for the 5th Biodiversity Samrakshan Internship Programme. There are 25 vacancies to be filled for this post. Candidates with Any Degree qualification can apply. Interested candidates eligible for this job can apply on or before 11 December 2023. NBA: The National Biodiversity Authority is a statutory autonomous body under the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India, established in 2003 to implement the provisions under the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 after India signed the Convention on Biological Diversity in 1992. The NBA, with its headquarters in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, delivers its mandate through a structure that comprises the Authority, Secretariat, SBBs, BMCs and Expert Committees.

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Internship Programme: Postgraduate degree or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (3 Years / 4 Years including Engineering) and
interest in Natural Resource Management.
Description of Tasks:
- Assist in the operationalisation and functioning of Biodiversity Management Committees (BMCs) in the
States and Union Territories. - Assist BMCs in the preparation of People’s Biodiversity Registers. (PBRs)
- Assist in the implementation of the Biological Diversity Act 2002.
Duration: 1 Year (upto December 31 2024)
Age Limit(As on 25 September): 21 – 30 years
Stipend: Rs. 22,500/month
No.of.vacancies: 25 Posts
Locations: Interns will be placed in NBA – Chennai, MoEFCC and the State Biodiversity Boards/UT Biodiversity Councils nationwide.
Selection Process:
The selection process will be based on Written Tests/Interviews.
