Detailed Eligibility for JNCASR Careers:
Educational Qualification:
R&D Assistant/Research Associate:
Essential:
- Ph.D. in Physical Sciences or Engineering fields relevant to Optics, Electronics, or Material Science
- Strong academic background in one or more of the following areas with at least one research paper in the Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal.
- Solid-state physics
- Semiconductor devices
- Fundamentals of optics
Desirable: Hands-on expertise in one or more of the following:
- 2D material exfoliation and assembly of 2D heterostructures
- Operation and maintenance of optical instruments
- Electrical and optical characterization techniques
- Material characterization methods
- Nanofabrication processes
Other Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory):
- Experience in cleanroom/Laser lab, Programming skills (Python/Labview/Origin/MATLAB) for data analysis and hardware interfacing, and Strong hands-on experience with instrumentation and experimental setups.
- Ability to independently manage and execute experimental tasks. Enthusiasm for collaborating in a multidisciplinary research environment.
Age Limit: 35 years
Salary Details: Rs. 46,800/- to 58,000/- + HRA

- PhD in Physics/Chemistry

Desirable:
- Expertise in thermoelectric, quantum materials, Raman spectroscopy, low-temperature transport measurements, and data analysis.
- Extensive research experience in the field of Condensed Matter Physics.
