MAIDS Recruitment 2022 – Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, has announced an online job notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professors in the various Dental Speciality. There are 18 vacancies to be filled for this post. Interested candidates who are all eligible for this recruitment can apply on or before 21st January 2022. The pay scale will be Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700/month. The education qualification should be a Post Graduate degree/ M.Sc. The detailed eligibility and Vacancy are given below in detail.
About MAIDS: Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences is recognized as a single point contact for assistance in developing, implementing and advancing the scope of dental health professionals in tobacco cessation for addressing patient care, research and capacity building along with integration in dental education. The NRC is a short term project currently for duration of two years and funded by Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Government of India.

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
- A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948).
- A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/Institute or Equivalent in the relevant subjects.
- Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognized Dental College.
- Should be registered with State Dental Council.
NOTE: For Assistant Professor (Forensic Odontology) the other education qualification is MSc. in Forensic Odontology from a recognized University after BDS.
Age Limit (as on 21/02/2022):
- The age limit for the candidates applying for the above mentioned post should be 45 years.

- The salary for the post of Assistant Professor is Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700/month
MAIDS Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:
- The selection for the post of Assistant Professor will be made through written screening test which would be qualifying only, followed by interview
- Only those candidates who qualify the written screening test, will be called for interview
- Qualifying marks for Written test for General Candidates is 50% and for OBC is 45%
- Out of the maximum number of qualified candidates in written screening test who shall be called for interview shall not be more
than 3 times the number of vacancies.

The application fees for the post of Assistant Professor is
- Rs.1000 for General/OBC candidates.
- Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH candidates
