Educational Qualification:

Graduate Trainee (Finance) :

  • CA intermediate or CMA intermediate/ Graduate in Commerce from a recognized Indian University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for SC candidates and 60% marks in aggregate for others.

Graduate Trainee (HR) :

  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Indian University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

Diploma Trainee (Technical) :

  • 3 years Diploma in Mining / Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by AICTE or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates and 60% marks in aggregate for others.

Junior Supervisor (Rajbhasha) :

  • Master’s Degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; Or Master’s degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. and Experience: 1(One) year relevant post qualification work experience in translation from English to Hindi or Vice Versa under Central / State Governments / Autonomous Bodies / Statutory Organizations / PSUs.

Personal Secretary:

  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level with Typing speed of 40 wpm in English and Stenographic skills. Knowledge of Computer is essential and shall be proficient in MS Office, etc. Experience: 1(One) year relevant post qualification work experience of independently managing secretarial activities of Office of GM/Director/MD/CMD or equivalent under Central / State Governments / Autonomous Bodies / Statutory Organizations / PSUs.

Tradesman Trainee (ITI) Fitter / Electrician / Attendant Operator Chemical Plant :

  • Must have passed SSC or equivalent Examination from a Board recognized by the State/Central Government with ITI / NAC with two years’ experience in the relevant Trade/ Discipline in a reputed Industrial Establishment including on the Job Training – Apprenticeship training, if any Must have passed SSC or equivalent Examination from a Board recognized by the State/Central Government with ITI/NAC in Attendant Operator (chemical Plant) or +(plus) 2 Science (Intermediate/Higher Secondary) with Chemistry as one of the subjects & 50% marks in aggregate and with two years’ experience in operation of Chemical and allied Process Industry including apprenticeship training, if any

IREL Recruitment Selection Process :
  • The mode of selection for all the posts would consist of (i) Written Test [First Level Test] (ii) Skill Test / Trade Test / Computer Proficiency Test and Psychometric Test [Second Level Test]as applicable and/or any combination thereof as may be prescribed or decided by the Competent Authority. The written test will be
    Computer Based Test (CBT) for Post Codes with PC1 to PC5 and Paper Based Test (PBT) for Post code with PC6. The candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements/criteria viz. Age, qualification, experience etc. will be called for written test (objective type) comprising of Multiple-Choice Questions.

IREL Recruitment Selection Process for Apprentice:
  • Only candidate who are fulfilling the criteria w.r.t educational qualification, marks, age etc. are eligible for engagement as Apprentices on the basis of merit list based on marks scored in specified educational qualification, subject to being found „Medically Fit” by IREL (India) Limited’s Medical Officer
  • In case final aggregate marks is not mentioned in the pass certificate or in final marks sheet, average marks of all the semesters/years will be considered as the marks scored in the Qualifying Examination.
  • Candidates will be called for document verification in the order of merit.
  • Shortlisted candidates shall undergo Medical Examination and will have to be declared “Medically Fit” by company authorized Medical Officer before engagement as Apprentice. Final selection of candidate is subject to medical fitness by Company’s Medical Officer.

IREL Recruitment – MT Selection Procedure:

The IREL Management Trainee Recruitment selection process based on Written Examination & Personal Interview followed by Pre-employment Medical Examination.

Written Examination:

  • The written examination will be held for a duration of 2 Hours consisting of two Papers.
  • Paper-I (Aptitude Related) will consist of 50 Objective type questions on General Knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical ability and General English
  • Paper-II – Professional Knowledge (Discipline related) with 50 objective type questions with multiple choice answers in each Paper.
  • Each question will carry 1 mark and there is no penalty for wrong answer.
  • The question paper shall be set in bilingual i.e. English and Hindi only.

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

  • For UR/EWSs/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 25 Marks in each paper
