Detailed Eligibility – IRCTC Jobs:
Education Qualification:
Hospitality Monitors:
- Full-time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.
- BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes under the Ministry of Tourism,
- B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science.
- MBA (Tourism and Hotel Management) from Government-recognised Universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE /Government of India, State Government. (CIHM/SIHM/ PIHM), Affiliated National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM & CT)/ UGC /AICTE /Govt of India.
- Candidates who passed out before 2024 are only eligible to apply.
- Experience:Â Candidates with a minimum of 02 years of experience in the relevant field of work only will be eligible
Age limit (As on 01 October 2025): 28 years
Age Relaxation:
- Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/ OBC/PWBD/Ex-Serviceman applicants as per Government guidelines
- Upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST applicants, by 3 years for OBC applicants and by 10 years for PwBD applicants. Ex-Servicemen — Up to the extent of service rendered in defence, plus 3 years
Salary Details: Rs. 30,000/- per month
Other Allowances:
- Daily allowance: Rs. 350/- per day for on-duty on board in train(s) (100% for more than 12 hours, 70% for 6 to 12 hours, and 30% and less than 6 hours).
- Lodging charges – Rs. 240/- if night stay is involved in outstation
- National Holiday Allowance (NHA): Rs. 384/- per day for working on a National Holiday. Medical Insurance: Up to 35 years- Rs. 1400/- per month; 36 to 50 years- Rs. 2000/- per month (Reimbursable on submission of valid Medical Policy documents)
