Education Qualification:
Hospitality Monitors:
- B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration
- BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes under Ministry of Tourism
- B.Sc. Hotel Management and catering Science
- M.B.A (Tourism and Hotel Management) from Government recognized Universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE /Government of India/ State Government. (CIHM/SIHM/ PIHM), affiliated National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM & CT)/ UGC /AICTE /Govt of India
- Freshers with relevant educational qualification can also apply
Age limit (As on 01/04/2026): 27 years for UR
Age Relaxation:
- ge relaxation will be given to SC/ST/ OBC/PwBD/ExServiceman applicants asper Government guidelines.
- Upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST applicants, by 3 years for OBC applicants and by 10 years for PwBD applicants, ExServicemen – Up to the extent of service rendered in defence plus 3 years
Salary Details: Rs. 30,000/- per month
Other Allowances:
- Daily allowance: Rs. 350/- per day for on-duty on board in train(s) (100% for more than 12 hours, 70% for 6 to 12 hours, and 30% and less than 6 hours).
- Lodging charges – Rs. 240/- if night stay is involved in outstation
- National Holiday Allowance (NHA): Rs. 384/- per day for working on a National Holiday. Medical Insurance: Up to 35 years- Rs. 1400/- per month; 36 to 50 years- Rs. 2000/- per month (Reimbursable on submission of valid Medical Policy documents)

Selection Process of IRCTC Jobs:
- The selection process will be based on the candidate’s performance in the walk-in interview
- Interview will be conducted & based on the credentials and performance in the personal interview the candidates will be shortlisted and the offer of engagement shall be issued to the suitable candidates in the order of merit and based on the number of vacancies.
- In addition to selected Main panel candidates, names of next selected list candidates will be placed on reserved panel (based on requirement) which shall be considered in the event of any shortfall
- Candidates are requested to fill in the Application Form complete in all respects. The complete Application Form has to be submitted at the Venue of the Interview for verification along with original & one set of attested copies of required documents and three recent passport size photographs.
