Educational Qualificationย 

Science Subjects:

  • Candidates should have passed the Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Education Board recognised by Central, State and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
  • Passed Three years of Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Government Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).   • In team events, the individual should have represented state in Junior/ Senior National competitions conducted by respective Sports Federations or All India Inter University Championship or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of the sports disciplines mentioned
  • For Cricket Discipline Only: Candidates who have played All India InterUniversity or BCCI Trophies โ€“ U-19, U-23, Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, Deodhar Trophy or higher participation are only eligible to apply.
  • For Shooting Discipline Only: Candidates who have attained the National Ranking (NSCC) up to 50th in 10M Air Pistol & 10 M Air Rifle and up to 30th rank in 50M Rifle 3P OR should have International Medal/ Participation

Age Limit:

  • Candidates born between 02 January 2004 and 02 July 2007 (inclusive dates) are eligible to apply.
  • In case a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection trial, then the upper age limit as of the date of enrolment should be 21 years

India Air Force Salary details:

  • Agniveervayu enrolled under this Scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of Rs. 30,000/- per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), Dress and Travel allowances will be paid. Perks such as ration, clothing, accommodation and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) shall also be provided as per the existing rules
  • AGNIVEERVAYU will not be required to contribute to any Provident Fund in Indian Air Force
  • AGNIVEERVAYU will be given one time โ€˜Seva Nidhiโ€™ package comprising their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below: โ€“

Selection Process of Indian Air Force Vacancy 2024:

  • The selection process for air force jobs will be based on Three Phases

Physical Fitness Test (PFT):

  • PFT consists of 1.6 Km run which is to be completed within 07 minutes.
  • Candidates shall also have to complete 10 Push-ups, 10 Situps and 20 Squats within the stipulated time as per the following to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test.
  • 10 Push Ups โ€“ 01 Minute โ€“ Test will be conducted after 10 minutes break on completion of running
  • 10 Sit Ups โ€“ 01 Minute โ€“ Test will be conducted after 02 minutes break on completion of Push Ups
  • 20 Squats โ€“ 01 Minute โ€“ Test will be conducted after 02 minutes break on completion of Sit Ups.

Sports Skill Trials:

  • Only PFT pass candidates would be called for sports skill trials
  • Sports Skill trials will be conducted for the Sports applied at venues decided by AFSCB in Delhi-NCR.

Medical Examination

  • Recommended Candidates after selection trials will undergo Medical Examination.
  • Medical Examination shall be conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards and existing policy in vogue

Selection Process of Indian Air Force Vacancy 2024:

  • The selection process for air force jobs will be based on Three Phases

Phase โ€“ I: Online Test

  • Eligible candidates will be sent admit cards for Phase โ€“ I of testing on their registered e-mail IDs between 48-72 hrs prior to the examination.
  • Candidates are required to download the admit card, take a colour printout and carry the same to the examination centre.
  • Name of city & exam date will be intimated to the candidates at an earlier date to enable them to plan their movement. Online test will be objective type and questions will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English paper.
  • The result of Phase-I and shortlisting for Phase-II, will be based on their performance in Phase-I Online test
  • Details of the test are as follows: โ€“
    • Science Subjects. Total duration of the online test shall be 60 minutes and shall comprise of Physics, Mathematics and English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
    • Other than Science Subjects. Total duration of the online test shall be 45 minutes and shall comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
    • Science Subjects & Other than Science Subjects. Total duration of the online test shall be 85 minutes and shall comprise of Physics, Mathematics and English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).

Phase โ€“ II

  • Soon after the declaration of the result of Phase-I (Online) Test, a cut off will be applied on the normalised marks scored by the candidates in the Phase-I Test and SHORTLISTED candidates will be sent a New admit card on their registered e-mail IDs for Phase-II test at a designated ASC. T
  • Names of the shortlisted candidates, who qualify the online test, shall be displayed on the CASB Web Portal hand on a stipulated date shall be called at designated ASC for Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Adaptability Test-II. PFT consists of two parts, PFT-I and PFT-II.
  • All candidates who pass Physical Fitness Test will have to undertake Adaptability Test-II as per policy in vogue. Adaptability Test-II is for selection of candidates who can adapt to the environment of the Indian Air Force and are able to adjust to the military way of life.

Phase โ€“ III: Medical Examination

  • Candidates who qualify Adaptability Test-II shall be issued with medical appointment letter at respective ASCs.
  • Medical examination shall be conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards and policy in vogue
