Agniveervayu – Educational Qualification:
Other than Science Subjects:
- Candidate should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination in any stream/ subjects from Education Boards recognised by Central/ State/ UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
- Passed two years Vocational Course from Education Boards recognised by Central/ State/ UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course). OR
- Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from Central, State and UT recognised Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).

India Air Force Salary Details:
- Agniveervayu enrolled under this scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of ₹ 30,000/- per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), Dress and Travel allowances will be paid. Perks such as ration, clothing, accommodation and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) shall also be provided as per the existing rules.
- Agniveervayu will be given one one-time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package comprising their monthly contribution along with a matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below

Selection Process of Indian Air Force Vacancy 2025:
Sequence of Examination:
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): PFT consists of two parts i.e. PFT-I and PFT-II.
- Written Test
Written Test:
- All candidates who qualify PFT shall undertake a written test on the same day.
- The written test will be an objective type and the question paper shall be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for the English paper.
- Answers are to be annotated on the OMR sheet.
- A detailed procedure shall be explained before the conduct of the examination.
- Duration of the written test will be 45 minutes and shall comprise of English (20 questions) as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA) (30 questions).
- Candidates are to qualify in each paper separately.
- Results of the written test shall be declared on the same day.
Adaptability Test-I: All candidates who pass the written test shall have to undertake Adaptability Test-I (objective type written test). The test is to assess suitability of a candidate for employment in the Indian Air Force, which involves deployment in varied geographic terrain, weather and operational conditions
Adaptability Test-II: All candidates who pass Adaptability Test-I shall undertake Adaptability Test-II on the same or subsequent day depending on the local conditions. Adaptability Test-II is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment of Indian Air Force and are able to adjust to the Military way of life.
Medical Examination:
- Candidates who qualify Adaptability Test-II shall be medically examined in the month of September 2025 at designated
Medical Boarding Centres (1 ASC – 9 AFH Halwara, 6 ASC – SMC Sion Air Force Station Mumbai, 8 ASC – SMC Air Force Station Tambaram, 9 ASC – 4 Air Force Hospital Kalaikunda). - Medical examination shall be conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per Indian Air Force medical standards in IAF Publications

Selection Process of Indian Air Force Vacancy 2025:
- The selection process will be based on
- Phase I: Online Test
- Phase II: PFT & Adaptability Tests
- Phase III: Medical Examination
Phase I: Online Test:
- Eligible candidates will be sent admit cards for Phase – I of testing on their registered e-mail IDs between 48-72 Hr prior to the examination.
- For Science Subjects: Total duration of the online test shall be 60 minutes and shall comprise of Physics, Mathematics and English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
- For Other than Science Subjects: Total duration of the online test shall be 45 minutes and shall comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
- For Science & Other than Science Subjects: Total duration of the online test shall be 85 minutes and shall comprise of Physics, Mathematics and English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
- Marking pattern for online test: 1 mark for a correct answer, nil (0) marks for an unattempted question, and a deduction of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Phase II: PFT-I, PFT-II, Adaptability Test-I, Adaptability Test-II
- Soon after the declaration of the result of Phase-I (Online) Test, state-wise SHORTLISTED candidates will be sent a new Admit Card on their registered e-mail IDs for Phase-II test
- Document Verification: Candidates should be in possession of the documents mentioned when appearing for the selection test which would be scrutinised/ verified prior to commencement of Phase-II to ascertain the eligibility prima facie.
- Adaptability Test-I: All candidates who pass the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) shall have to undertake Adaptability Test-I (objective type written test) which is to assess suitability of a candidate for employment in the Indian Air Force, which involves deployment in varied geographic terrain, weather and operational conditions
- Adaptability Test-II: All candidates who pass Adaptability Test-I will have to undertake Adaptability Test-II as per policy in vogue. Adaptability Test-II is for selection of candidates who can adapt to the environment of the Indian Air Force and are able to adjust to the military way of life.

Phase III – Medical Examination:
