Detailed Eligibility – DRDO DMSRDE Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Research Associateship (Chemistry):
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
Junior Research Fellowship (Chemistry/Material Science/Polymer Science):
- Post Graduate degree in relevant discipline (basic sciences) in first division with NET qualification
Junior Research Fellowship (Chemical Engineering or Technology/Material Science & Engineering/Polymer Science Engineering or Technology):
- Graduate degree in professional (B.E./B.Tech.) in relevant discipline in first division with NET/GATE. OR
- Post-graduate degree in professional course (M.E./M.Tech.) in relevant discipline in first division both at Graduate and Post graduate level
Age Limit (As on 11 February 2026):
- Research Associateship – 35 years
- Junior Research Fellowship – 28 years
Age Relaxation of DRDO DMSRDE Careers:
- 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates & 3 years for OBC candidates).
- However, the OBC candidates in the creamy layer will not be eligible for age relaxation
Stipend:
- Research Associateship – Rs. 67,000/-
- Junior Research Fellowship – Rs. 37,000/-
