Detailed Eligibility:
Cloud Engineer – Consultant (I&T – Deloitte Engineering):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery and other essential GCP resources (e.g., Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
- Experience with data ingestion and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Preferred: Master’s Degree in a relevant field from a top-tier university.
Work you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated data pipelines for data ingestion from various sources.
- Implement data manipulations to ensure data is ready for downstream applications.
- Utilize GCP services, including BigQuery, to build scalable and efficient data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines.
