Cognizant Off Campus Drive 2025: Cognizant is hiring Engineering Graduates โ€“ GenC Next, GenC Pro & GenC. Candidates with B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech qualifications are eligible to apply. Detailed Eligibility:



Engineering Graduates โ€“ GenC Next, GenC Pro & GenC:

  • 2024 batch of specific B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M. Tech (Streams such as Leather technology, Food technology, Fashion technology, etc. are excluded).
  • Students should possess consistent academic record withย minimumย 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (rounding off 59.9% is not allowed)
  • At the time of joining, all recruits need to have a minimum 60% aggregate in the pursuing degree with no standing arrears
  • Appropriate CGPA to % conversion to be considered as per university norms
  • Students withย standing arrears are NOT eligible.

Note:



  • Flexibility to workย from any Cognizant office location in a given shift timing and technology is mandatory.
  • Open toย Indian nationals / OCIs /ย PIOsย who are currently residing in India.
  • Students will get the communications only to the registered mail ID in Superset. It must be their personal mail ID and shall be considered as the primary email ID. This email ID should not be changed at any point during hiring process or until Full Time Employment (FTE) onboarding.

Salary:

  • GenC Next: Rs. 6.75 LPA
  • GenC Pro: Rs. 5.4 LPA
  • GenC: Rs. 4 LPA

GenC Next: Students should be technically proficient, with advanced programming, matured coding skills and full stack abilities with Industry accredited certificate/s in one or more: Java, C#, Web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript), Python, Oracle, SQL/PLSQL, Cloud (AWS, Azure and GCP),Data Structures and Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming, Maven,ย Spring Core,ย Spring Boot,ย Spring Data JPA,ย Spring REST, Data Structures and Algorithms,ย Object Oriented Programming,ย Advanced Python,ย Advanced Cloud Fundamentals,ย ASP .Net Core,ย SQL Server,ย ย Entity framework Core,ย ASP .Net Core Web API.

GenC Pro: Students should be technically proficient with expertise in enterprise platforms/products/specific technologies, such as Cybersecurity, Oracle, Salesforce, Mulesoft, Pega, SAP ABAP, SAP Basis and ServiceNow with Industry accredited certificate.

GenC โ€“ Job description:

  • Understand business requirements, raise clarifications, create documents
  • Develop, maintain, test, debug and deploy code as per the requirement specifications
  • Understand the data requirements and develop test scenarios
  • Understand the Agile application development environment, deliverables due and follow the SDLC
  • Create low level design for components
  • Identify and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Proactively address issues and work on mitigating points of failure
  • Take ownership to deliver on goals specified in a timely and efficient manner
  • Participate as a member of project team in meetings and technical sessions to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions
  • Continuously upskill/reskill and cross skill to scale up to new technologies
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Mandatory documents

  • For registration:
    • Resumeย attached with latest passport size photograph.
    • Industry accredited certificate if availableย to be uploaded mandatorily.
  • For interview:
    • All academic documents including the college ID card (if available), school/college, UG and PG marksheets, provisional/ degree certificate.
  • For onboarding:
    • PAN card. It is a mandatory requirement for onboarding. Please ensure that your last name, fatherโ€™s name, and other details are accurate. Please note that background verification will fail if the last name is not updated or if the PAN card name does not match the registered name.
    • Voter Id card / Passport will be mandatory to verify citizenship.

  • Registration (February 24 onwards)
  • Screening & Assessment Rounds
    • Round 1 (Online) โ€“ Communication Assessment (March 07 onwards)
    • Round 2 (Online) โ€“ Aptitude & Technical Assessment
      • Aptitude Assessment (March 10 onwards)
      • Technical Assessment (March 11 onwards)
    • Round 3 (In-Person) โ€“ Interview Stage
  • Technical Interview (March 27 onwards)
    • Candidates shortlisted from the assessments will be notified about their hiring category:
      • GenC
      • GenC Next Pro
      • GenC

Note:

  • It is mandatory to appear for Communication, Aptitude, and Technical assessment to be eligible for technical interview
  • Please note, if selected, candidate will join as a fresher as no prior work experience will be considered.
  • All shortlisted candidates will be notified on the hiring category for interview.
  • Final decision on candidate screening, eligibility for assessments, interview and final selection will be at the sole discretion of Cognizant.
