Research Associate-I:
- Candidate should either have a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences/Chemistry in the area of theoretical/computational chemistry with good academic records.
- Candidate must have expertise in the application of DFT for periodic systems/materials and be competent in handling/applying software such as VASP, Quantum Expresso and similar periodic DFT codes for studying properties of materials and reactions on surfaces
- Research Area: Investigations of reactions on material surfaces and clusters and designing materials for renewable energy research.
Duration: The post is purely temporary for 1 year and thereafter will be extended for 1 more year if the candidate performs his/her duties to the satisfaction of the principal investigator.
