Detailed Eligibility – NIIRNCD Career:
Educational Qualification:
Project Title: High Population-Based Coverage of High-Risk Pregnancy Identification and Management Through Effective Antenatal Care and Care Continuum Across Antenatal, Intrapartum, and Postnatal Care – An Implementation Research
Project Nurse-II: Minimum Second Class or CGPA three-year General Nursing & Midwife (GNM)
Project Technical Support- I:
- Essential: 10th + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + 2-year experience in relevant subject/field.
- Desired: Experience in conducting community-based health research surveys.
Tenure: Initially for up to one year (extendable as per norms). However, the position is terminus at any point of time
Upper Age Limit (As on 10 October 2024):
- Project Nurse-II: Not exceeding 30 years
- Project Technical Support- I: Not exceeding 28 years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be admissible for SC/ST/OBC candidates and the retrenched government. Employees, departmental candidates (including projects), ex-servicemen, etc., are occasionally under the instructions issued by the central government/DoPT/ICMR.
Salary Details:
- Project Nurse-II: Rs. 20,000/-+ HRA per month
- Project Technical Support- I: Rs. 18,000/-+ HRA per month

Selection Process of NIIRNCD Careers:
- Only eligible candidates will appear for Walk-in-interview/written test.
- In case of more than 30 candidates, a written test may be taken.
- The qualifying marks for the written test will be for SC/ST: 35%, UR/ OBC/EWS: 40%
- The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test/interview subject to qualifying the skill test, wherever applicable.
- The final merit shall be prepared on the basis of marks of written test and interview.
- In case of non-conductance of written test being less than 30 candidates, the merit shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the interview
- The candidates scoring qualifying marks shall be interviewed as mentioned in the below table if a written test is conducted:
- Project Nurse – II: Generally, up to the top 8 candidates in the written test
- Project Technical Support- I: Generally, up to the top 8 candidates in the written test
