Lab Technician (Post Code: 01):
- B.Sc. in MLT/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Chemistry/ Molecular Biology from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Working experience in Molecular Research lab/clinical lab/ Human genetics
- Preferably one year or more working knowledge of molecular biology, ELISA, western blotting, NGS sequencing, PCR and post PCR experiments with basic skills like pipetting, autoclaving etc
- Additional preference will be given to the candidate who has experience in NGS sequencing
Lab Technician (Post Code: 02):
- B.Sc. in MLT/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Chemistry/ Molecular Biology from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Working experience in Cell culture lab/clinical lab/ genetics studies/ Molecular research lab
- Preferably one year or more working knowledge of cell culture, molecular biology, PCR, ELISA with basic skills like pipetting, autoclaving etc
- Preference will be given to candidate who can handle multiple cell lines and primary culture

Selection Process of AFMC Pune Jobs:
Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- The selection will be made based on the computer-based Test (CBT).
- The question Paper of written exam for 10th-level posts will consist of 100 x Multiple Choice Objective type questions and will be in both English & Hindi, except Part C.
- There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
- The correctness or otherwise of the answers shall be decided based on the pre-set key of answer and no representation in this regard will be entertained.
- The duration of the CBT will be 90 minutes.
- Final appointment order will be issued based on merit cum choice.
- The selected and reserved candidates will be called for giving their choice after preparing the merit list.
The Syllabus for the Computer Test is as follows:-
- Aptitude section/General Intelligence & Reasoning – 25 questions, 25 Marks
