AECS Recruitment 2024: Atomic Energy Central Schools has announced notification for the posts of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)/PRTs/Prep Teachers. Candidates with the qualification of B.A/B.Sc/B.Ed/12th pass/D.El.C.Ed/B.El.Ed. are eligible to apply for the jobs. Detailed Eligibility – AECS Recruitment:
Educational Qualification:
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT):
- Three years Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University in the subject(s) concerned OR a combination of the subject (s) as mentioned below and pass in B.Ed degree from a recognized University. OR
- Four years integrated Bachelor’s Degree with B.Ed degree of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT/from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution in the subject(s) concerned or combination of subjects as mentioned
Subjects:
- English: English as a subject in Graduation in all three years and B.Ed with English as a teaching subject.
- Maths/Physics: Maths/Physics as a subject in Graduation in all three years and B.Ed with Maths/Physics as a teaching subject
- Bio/Chemistry: Bio/Chemistry as a subject in Graduation in all three years and B.Ed with Bio/Chemistry as a teaching subject.
- PET: Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education OR Two years degree in Physical Education after completion of three years graduation in any subject and Proficiency in teaching in English medium.
PRT’s:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (Special Education) with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University. OR
- B.Ed. in any subject other than special education and two years Diploma in Special Education from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate for an equivalent CGPA. OR
- B.Ed. in any subject other than special education and Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate for equivalent CGPA.
Prep Teachers:
- Pass in Senior Secondary / Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination or Intermediate or its equivalent.
- Diploma in Nursery Teachers Education, Pre-School Education / Early Childhood Education Programme (D.El.C.Ed.) or their equivalent.
- The duration of all the above courses shall not be less than two years. OR
- B.Ed. (Nursery) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution.
- English as a subject at +2.
- Proficiency in teaching in English medium is essential.
PRT:
- Pass in Senior Secondary/ Higher Secondary School Certificate Test or Intermediate or its equivalent with English as a subject in +2 level and two years Diploma in Elementary Education from a recognized Institution. OR
- Pass in Senior Secondary/ Higher Secondary School Certificate Test or Intermediate or its equivalent with English as a subject in +2 level and four years Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) from a recognized Institution. OR
- Pass in Senior Secondary/ Higher Secondary School Certificate Test or Intermediate or its equivalent with English as a subject in +2 level and two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed) from a Recognized Institution. OR
- Graduation in any subject and Bachelor’s of Education (B.Ed )
Prep. Teachers:
- Pass in Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination or Intermediate or its equivalent.
- Diploma in Nursery Teachers Education, Pre-School Education /Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.CEEd) or their equivalent. Duration of all the above courses shall not be less than two years. OR
- B.Ed. (Nursery) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution.
- English as a subject at +2.
- Proficiency in teaching in English medium is essential.
Age Limit ( As on 01 April 2024):
- PGT/Prep: 40 years
- TGT: 45 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (non creamy layer): 03 years
- Women: 10 years
- Physically Challenged: As per the Govt. of India norms.
Salary:
- PGT/Prep: Rs 21,250/-
- TGT: Rs 26,250/-
Selection Process:
- The selection process includes a Written Test/Skill Test
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test and those who qualify in the same will become eligible for Skill Test.
- The dates and timings of the written and skill tests will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates through emails.
Written Test:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test. The screening shall be made through objective type of test (MCQs) for 50 marks in the respective subject for 1 ½ hour
- Candidates scoring 50% or above (Gen) and 45% or above (SC/ST/BC/Phy.Chal.) will be considered for skill test.
Skill Test:
- Shortlisted candidates based on the Written Test will become eligible for Skill Test that will be conducted on the same day.
- The selected candidates will be empanelled based on written and skill tests.
- The panel will be operated as and when vacancies arise in AEC Schools, Hyderabad during the Academic Year 2024-25.
