Educational Qualification – Tripura Government Job 2024:

Programmer:

Essential:

At least MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science)/M.Sc. (Information Technology) or B.E/B.Tech. in Computer Engineering/Information Technology or higher.
One year experience in Software development along with database handling after acquiring the aforesaid qualification.

Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kok-borok.

Assistant Programmer:

Essential: At least a Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/B.Sc (Information Technology) or Diploma in Computer Engineering or Higher.

Desirable:

Knowledge in VB, NET, ASP, NET, C#, JAVA/J2EE programming along with handling MS-SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL database
Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.

Age Limit (As on 09 December 2024): 18 to 40 years

Age Relaxation:

The upper age is relaxable by 05 years in the case of ST/SC/PH/PWD candidates, Govt. Servants and other categories as specified by the State Government occasionally.
The Govt. Employees belonging to ST/SC/ other categories shall not get this relaxation over and above the general rélaxation of five(5) years available to them.

Tripura Job Notification 2024 – Salary Details:

Programmer: Rs. 37,600/- (PB-3, Rs. 10,230/- to 34,800/-, Cell-1, Level-11)
Assistant Programmer: Rs. 34,700/- (PB-2, Rs.5,700/- to 24,000/-, Cell -1, Level-10)

Selection Process for TPSC Careers:

The Selection Process consist of 2(two) successive stage:
- Written Examination: 170 Marks
- Interview /Personality Test: 30 Marks

Written Examination:

The duration of the written examination will be 3 (three) hours
The question paper for the written examination will be 170 marks (170 MCQ).
The question will be MCQ type carrying 1(one)mark each.
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

Interview/Personality Test:

The candidates who will be found qualified in the Written Examination will be called to appear in the Interview cum Personality Test.
The interview cum personality test shall be to assess the personal qualities of a candidate e.g. his intellectual ability, social traits, interest in current affairs, critical power of judgment, variety and depth of interest, the ability for leadership moral integrity etc.
The final selection will be made in order of merit and a merit list will be prepared by adding the marks obtained in the written examination and Interview cum personality test.
