Educational Qualification:
Senior Scientist & Head:
- Doctoral degree in Agriculture subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band‐3 of Rs. 15600‐39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/ Rs.6000/ Rs.7000/ Rs.8000 having made contribution to research/teaching/extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations and impact.
Subject Matter Specialist:
- Master’s degree in Horticulture or any other branch of science/social science relevant to Horticulture or Equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
Programme Assistant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or any other branch of science/social science relevant to Agriculture or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.
Assistant:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
Stenographer:
- 12th class pass or equivalent from recognized Board/University
Age Limit :
- Senior Scientist & Head – 47 years
- Subject Matter Specialist – 35 years
- Programme Assistant (Computer) – 30 years
- Assistant – 27 years
- Stenographer – 27 years
Relaxations in upper age limit:
- 3 years for Other Backward Classes (OBCs)
- 5 years for SC/STs.
- 10 years for PWD candidates
- Others as per govt rules
