The TATA Steel exam notification was released on 08 February 2023 for the post of engineer trainee by Aspire Engineering Program. Candidates with B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg)/MCA/M.Sc can apply for the test. Freshers can also apply for the job. Selected candidates will be placed all across India. Average pay range will be 6.24 LPA. Scope of getting into Tata Steel as Trainee ( Aspiring Engineers Program)
Stage 1 :Initial Stage – Day ‘0’ – Engineer Trainee

- 2 months of classroom training provided by Tata Steel Leaders and Experts
- 10 months of on-the-job experiential learning through projects
- Mentoring by senior leaders and experts
Stage 2 : 1 Year – Assistant Manager ( Contractual)
- Developing Functional Expertise
- 3-year Fixed Term contract
- Handling job responsibilities while developing expertise
- Continued self development through online training modules
- Monthly Review with Mentor, Quarterly Review with Senior leaders
Stage 3 : Assistant Manager ( Full – Time Employee)

Upon successful completion of the 3-year contract, and based on performance and job fit assessment -promotion to Assistant Manager as a Full-Time Employee.

TATA Steel Syllabus 2023:
To join as an engineer trainee by scoring good marks in TATA Steel test, one has to be well – versed in cognitive / IQ assessments, a strong background knowledge on core subjects with good technical knowledge and the capability to clear personal interview.
