RMRC Recruitment 2023 notification for recruitment for the Technical Posts ( Technician/Technical Assistant/Lab Attendant ). There are a total of 06 vacancies to be filled for these positions. The educational qualification should be 10th/12th pass/B.Sc/Diploma. Interested candidates who are all eligible for this recruitment can apply. Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Technical Assistant: 1st class three years Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the recognized University.
Technician 1:
- 12th or Intermediate pass in science subject with 55% marks and
- At least one year of Diploma in MLT from govt. recognized institution.
Lab Attendant:
- 10th pass with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board and
- One year of working experience in a govt. recognized/ approved/registered lab.
Age Limit ( As on 06 August 2023 ):
- Technical Assistant: Not exceeding 30 years
- Technician 1: Not exceeding 28 years
- Lab Attendant: Not exceeding 25 years
Age Relaxation:
- Age relaxation of up to 5 years for Scheduled caste (SC) and up to 3 years for Other Backward shall be allowed as per DoPT guidelines.
- Candidates belonging to SC/OBC should furnish their certificates in the prescribed format, failing which, their applications will not be considered.
- Age relaxation of up to 5 years for Group ‘B’ posts and up to 40 years for Group ‘C’ posts are allowed to the Government servant shall be allowed subject as per DoPT guidelines.
Salary:
- Technical Assistant: Rs 35,400 – 1,12,400/-
- Technician 1: Rs 19,900 – 63,200/-
- Lab Attendant: Rs 18,000 – 56,900/-

Selection Process:
- The selection process includes an Interview.
- The date, time, and venue of the written test will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates through call letters/admit cards and no inquiry/request in this regard will be entertained.

- Non-refundable application fee in the form of an Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft of Rs 300 /- payable at Port Blair.
- SC/ST/PwD and women candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
