Educational Qualification:
Project Title: Functional Dissection of Host Protein Import by Plasmodium for Non-metabolic Purposes
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
Essential:
- Good Academic record with First Class Master’s Degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology or Microbiology.
- The Candidate should have qualified for any one of the National Eligibility Tests (CSIR/UGC-JRF, DBT- BET Category-I and II/ ICMR/DST-Inspire Fellowship or GATE).
Desirable:
- Prior experience with mammalian cell culture techniques, microscopy and ‘omics’ (experiments and data analysis) is highly recommended.
- The ability to handle blood and blood-borne infectious agents would be an advantage.
Duration: For one year or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier) and extendable based on the performance evaluation.
Age Limit (As on 17 November 2024): Below 28 years
Age relaxation of RGCB Jobs: Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.
Salary: Rs. 37,000/- + 18 % HRA per month.
