Educational Qualification:
Clerk Cum Data Entry Operator:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution with Computer Information Technology course equivalent to ‘O’ Level certificate and Qualifies a test in Punjabi and English typing to be held by the recruiting authority at the speed of 30 wpm.
Clerk:
- Law Graduate from a recognized university or institution with Computer Information Technology course equivalent to ‘O’ Level certificate and Qualifies a test in Punjabi and English typing to be held by the recruiting authority at the speed of 30 wpm.
Village Development Organiser :
- Graduate in any Discipline from a recognized university or Institution and One year Diploma Course in Computer Application and Matric with Punjabi as a Subject.

Clerk:
- Should have Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or Institution; and Possesses at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications from a Government recogniesed institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001 certified. OR
- Possesses a Computer Information Technology course equivalent to ‘O’ Level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of Government of India. and Qualifies a test in Punjabi (In Unicode Compliant Font and English typing to be held by the Board or the appointing authority or the Department of Information Technology as the case may be, at a speed of thirty words per minute before his appointment (As specified in The Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994) and Qualifies a competitive test to be held by the recruiting authority
Clerk IT:
- Should be B.Tech in Computer Science or or B.Sc.
