NSCD Recruitment 2025: National Science Centre, Delhi is a unit of the National Council of Science Museums, Kolkata, an autonomous scientific organisation functioning under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India has announced notification for Technician-‘A’/Artist-‘A’/Education Assistant – ‘A’/Technical Assistant-‘A’/Exhibition Assistant -‘A’ posts. There are 24 vacancies available for the job. Candidates with B.Sc/BFA/BVA/10th/ITI/Diploma qualifications are eligible to apply. Detailed Eligibility – NSCD Jobs:
Educational Qualification:
Technician-‘A’:
- SSC or Matriculation with certificate from ITI or equivalent in relevant discipline.
- Candidates must have one year experience after obtaining the certificate for course duration of two years.
- For candidates obtaining certificates of one year course duration, two years relevant experience after obtaining the certificate shall be required.
Note: Essential Qualification (ITI Trade or equivalent) should be from concerned Trade i.e. Carpentry/ Fitter/Electronics/ Painter/Draughtsman/Computer H/w & Networking.
Artist-‘A’:
- Essential Qualification: Diploma/Certificate in Fine/Commercial Art of at least two years duration after SLC.
- Candidates must have one year experience after obtaining the diploma/certificate for course duration of two years.
- For candidates obtaining diploma/certificates of one year course duration, two years relevant experience after obtaining the certificate shall be required.
- Desirable qualification: Experience in fiber glass Art / Art Modeling / Sculpture work is desirable.
Note: Essential Qualification (Diploma Holder /Certificate) should be from concerned Stream i.e. Fine Arts/Commercial Arts.
Education Assistant – ‘A’:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics and combination of any two subjects viz. Chemistry, Mathematics, Electronics, Computer Science, Astronomy, Geology and Statistics OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Science with Chemistry and combination of any two subjects viz. Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Bio-Technology and Molecular Biology from a duly recognized University
Technical Assistant-‘A’: Diploma course (3 years) in Electrical.
Exhibition Assistant-‘A’: Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts/Fine Arts/Commercial Arts.
Age Limit (As on 30 August 2025): Not more than 35 years
Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for the reserved categories, as per Government of India Rules.
