NPSC Recruitment โ€“ Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Stenographer:

  • Item No 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10,11&12:ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Graduate in any discipline with 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Operation and 1 (one) year course in Shorthand possessing a speed of 80 words per minute.
  • Item No 8:ย  ย  ย  ย Graduate in any discipline with 6 (six) a month Diploma in Computer Operation and 1 (one-year course in Shorthand possessing a speed of 100 words per minute.

Age Limit(As on 01 January 2024):ย 

  • Stenographer: Minimum -21 yearsย ย ย Maximum -30 years

Jobs -in Nagaland โ€“ Age Relaxation:

  • 5(five) years for candidates belonging to SC/ST.
  • Age concession for serving Government employees will be allowed, the equal numbers of years they are in service to a maximum of 5 (five) years.

Selection Process of NPSC Jobs:

  • The selection process will be based on interviews

NPSC: The Nagaland Public Service Commission was established in 1965 with a chairman and two members. In 1985 two members were added to the commission. The Nagaland Public Service Commission currently consists of five members, including the chairman.
