Essential:
- Postgraduate or Graduate in any branch of biological sciences like Veterinary Sciences, Agriculture Sciences, Life sciences, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or equivalent from any Government Recognized University
Desirable:
- Experience: Work experience in lab animals or any other laboratory.
- Experience in reagent preparation, biochemical estimations, molecular work etc
- Proficient in MS Office using computers like MS word, MS power point, MS excel etc
- Proficient in communication skills using English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil or any other regional languages.
Job Profile/Nature: To work in the centre for Laboratory Animal Research(CLAR) Animal House, carrying out routine activities of CLAR, planning and monitoring routine work of lab animal house, breeding, care and management of lab animals, executing lab work of different research projects, preparing purchase proposals, maintaining instruments, files, registers, manpower management, any other work assigned by Officer Incharge, CLAR from time to time.

Educational Qualification:
Project Title: Development of buffalo bull fertility diagnostic chip based on sperm transcripts signatures.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
Essential:
- Master’s degree courses in the relevant subject with four years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks [or] equivalent overall grade point average with two years of experience. [or]
- Master’s degree (3 years Bachelor’s degree and two years Master’s degree) in the life sciences with NET/GATE/BET qualification and two years of experience.
- Preferred subjects: Animal Reproduction, Animal Physiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences and Bioinformatics
Desirable:
- Research experience in nucleic acid isolation and purifications, qPCR, NGS library preparation and sequencing.
- The candidate should know bioinformatics analysis of current genomics (NGS and microarray) and proteomic (LC-MS/MS) platform dates.
- The experience should be supported with published research in internationally reputed journals.
Duration of the post: The appointment is purely temporary and liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof
