Educational Qualifications:
Deputy Manager (Technical Cadre):
- Degree in Civil Engineering from any recognised University/Institute and Qualified GATE (Civil Engineering) in any of the year, 2023/2024/2025
Eligibility:
- Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan.
- Candidate must have qualified GATE Examination in the Civil Engineering discipline in any of the year; i.e. 2023/2024/2025.
Age Limit (As on 03 November 2025): Not exceeding 34 years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxations shall be available for specific categories as under:
- 5 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, 3 years for Other Backwards Classes (NCL).
- For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities from SC/ST 15 years, 13 years for those from OBC (NCL), 10 years for UR/EWS.
- 5 years for Ex-servicemen who have rendered at least five years of military service and have been released:
- On completion of the assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year), otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency; or On account of physical disability attributable to military service or on invalidment.

Selection Process for NHIDCL Careers:
- Candidates shall be selected based on the best of the GATE scores in Civil Engineering, obtained in any of the year, viz. 2023/2024/2025.
- Accordingly, the candidates are advised to provide best of the scores obtained in any of these three years in the online application form.
- A list of selected candidates in order of merit shall be prepared by the Selection Committee(s)/Recruitment Authority.
