Detailed Eligibility for NCPUL Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Research Assistant:
- Master’s degree recognised University or equivalent.
- Must have taken Urdu as an optional subject at graduation level for 3 years/2 years degree course in case of M.A. or must have taken second language up to 2 years or 3 years degree in case of MA/M.Sc/M.Com must have taken Urdu at High School/Higher Secondary School level in case of M.Sc/M.Com where offering Urdu as a second language at provided.
- 3 years experience of teaching or terminological and/or translational/editing work in Urdu/Library Science/Distance Education.
Senior Stenographer (English):
Essential:
- 10+2 or equivalent
- 100 words speed per minute in shorthand in English
- 40 words typing speed per minute in English
Desirable:
- At least 3 years experience as a Stenographer in a Govt. Department or an organization of repute.
- Working knowledge of computer operation.
Age Limit (As on 11 November 2024):
- Research Assistant (RA): 35 Years
- Senior Stenographer (English): 18 to 27 years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be available to eligible categories/department persons as per Govt. of India orders in force.
Salary Details: Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/-

Selection Process for NCPUL Careers:
- The selection process will be based on written/descriptive and proficiency tests.
