Detailed Eligibility for MNNIT Allahabad Recruitment:
Project Title: Sustainable Energy System for Achieving Novel Carbon Neutral Energy Communities (SUSTENANCE) funded (Indian-side) by DST, Government of India.
Education Qualification:
- Essential: M. Tech. / M.E. in with specialization in Power Systems/Control & Instrumentation/ Power Electronics & Drives/ Renewable Energy/ Energy Engineering/ Geoinformatics/Geomatics/GIS & Remote Sensing/Computer Science and Engineering having qualified GATE examination in engineering disciplines
- Desirable Experience: One year of research experience in project description/objectives, publication, etc. Proficiency in software development/programming skills.
Tenure of Appointment: The appointment will be made on a contract basis for one year from the date of joining or for the duration of the project, whichever is earlier
Note: The candidate is expected to travel between MNNIT Allahabad and the project demonstration site located in Barubeda village, Jharkhand, using transport, i.e., as per the funding agency guidelines.
Age Limit ( As on 24 April 2024): 28 Years.

Project Title: Prototype design and performance analysis of an energy-efficient domestic biogas cook-stove burner funded by SERB-DST under the Core-Research Grant Scheme.
Education Qualification:
- Essential:
- M.Tech/M.E. in Thermal/Thermo-Fluid/Power/Energy Engineering and allied/relevant branches aligning with the nature of the project [or]
- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical /Power/Energy Engineering and allied/relevant branches aligning with the nature of the project.
- Desirable Experience:
- With two years of experience.
- GATE Qualified.
Tenure of Appointment: Appointment will be made on a contract basis for one year initially, which may be extended subject to the release of funding from the funding agency. Further, the contract may be extended depending on the performance evaluation every year till the end of the project.
Note: Candidates selected for the SRF may register for the Institute’s Ph.D. program if they meet the eligibility conditions.
