Detailed Eligibility for Karnataka High Court Careers:

Educational Qualification:

Law Clerk-Cum-Research Assistant:

  • Must possess a Law Degree from a recognized University with a minimum aggregate of fifty per cent (50%).
  • Must have enrolled as an Advocate in the Karnataka State Bar Council.
  • Must have research and analytical skills, writing abilities, and knowledge of computers, including retrieval of desired information from various search engines/processes such as SCR, SCC Online, Manupatra, Law Finder, AIR Online Database, etc.

Age Limit ( As on 17 April 2024):ย 30 years.

Salary: Rs. 25,000/-

Selection Process for Karnataka High Court Careers:

  • The candidates will be selected based on academic record, achievements, and performance in the interview by a Committee of Honโ€™ble Judges constituted by Honโ€™ble the Chief Justice.
  • The applications will be considered based on the information furnished by the candidates in the online application, and the candidates whose applications are in order will be called for an interview.
  • If necessary, the selected candidates will be posted to work at the High Court of Karnataka, Principal Bench at Bengaluru or Benches at Dharwad and Kalaburagi.
  • Candidates shall produce a copy of the call letter and all the certificates relied upon when submitting online applications and appearing for a viva voce/interview. (SSLC/ X Standard, LL.B. Marks Card, Enrolment Certificate, etc.).
