The Indian Bank announced Specialist Officer Notification: Deputy Vice President/Assistant Vice President/Associate Manager-Senior Officer. There are 146 vacancies to be filled. Selection Process of Indian Bank Careers:

  • Depending upon the number of applications received, the Bank, at its discretion, will decide on the mode of selection viz.
    • Shortlisting of applications followed by interview or
    • Written / Online Test followed by Interview

Written Test/Online Test:

The marks allotted for each stage of selection will be as follows:

  • The duration of the exam will be 1 hour, 45 Minutes.
  • There will be a negative marking of 1/4th of the marks assigned to the question.

Cut-off score in Test:

  • The number of candidates to be called for an interview based on their performance in the written test is 3 times the vacancy for the unreserved category and five times the vacancy for the reserved category. Depending upon the number of vacancies, cut-offs on total mark will be decided, and candidates will be shortlisted for interview.

Interview:

  • The total marks in the interview will be 100.
  • The minimum qualifying mark in Test and Interview is 40 % for candidates belonging to unreserved category / EWS and 35 % for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWBD categories.
  • In case a sufficient number of candidates are not available as per the qualifying criteria then Bank reserves the right to lower the qualifying marks/cut-off at its discretion.
  • The weightage for Test and Interview will be 80:20
  • If two or more candidates have obtained the same score in the Test / Interview, the merit order shall be decided as per date of birth (the candidate senior in age is placed before/above the candidate junior in age).

Application Fees:

  • SC/ST/PWBD: Rs. 175/- + GST (Only intimation charges)
  • UR/OBC/Others: Rs. 1000 /- + GST

Payment Mode:

  • Payment can be made by using debit or credit cards or Internet banking by providing information as requested on the screen.
  • The candidate will have to bear Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/intimation charges.
