IIT Patna Recruitment 2024: IIT Patna Recruitment has announced notification for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) posts. There are two IIT Patna vacancies to be filled. IIT Patna invites applications from eligible candidates for the Junior Research Project (JRF) in a purely time-bound research project undertaken in this institute entitled “Design and Development of Novel Thermocatalysts for Selective CO2 Hydrogenation to Ethanol” & “Coalescence dynamics of the aqueous droplet at the nanoscale: Insight from molecular simulation”. The post will be for one year, which can be extended up to 03 years, subject to satisfactory performance. The age limit for this post will be 28 to 32 years. The selected candidates will be paid Rs. 37,000/- to 42,000/- per month. The selection process will be based on a walk-in interview/online interview. Detailed Eligibility for IIT Patna Careers:

Educational Qualification:

Temporary Research Project Title: Coalescence dynamics of the aqueous droplet at the nanoscale: Insight from molecular simulation

Junior Research Fellow:

B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology, Biochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with valid GATE score/NET qualification, Or
M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/BiochemicalEngineering/Mechanical Engineering (and specializations therein)with GATE / NET qualification, Or
M.Sc. in physics and chemistry with valid GATE score/NET qualification. The candidate desirably should have BE/B. Tech, ME/M.Tech, M.Sc. degree or equivalent with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60 % of marks.

Duration: Initially, 01 years and can be extended up to 03 years subject to satisfactory performance. (Note: JRF may apply in PhD programme of CBE Dept. of IIT Patna)

Salary for IIT Patna vacancies:

Rs. 37,000/- per month for first two years + HRA(as applicable)
Rs. 42,000/- per month for the third year + HRA (as applicable)
