IIM Nagpur: The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur started its journey in 2015 under the mentorship of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. The Instituteโ€™s first batch of Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management commenced on the 23rd of July 2015. IIM Nagpur is located within the campus of VNIT Nagpur till it moves to its campus (of approximately 135 acres) at MIHAN, Nagpur. IIM Nagpur Careers โ€“ Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Required Qualification:

  • Graduation in any discipline with first class or its equivalent grade from a recognized University / Institute.
  • Post-graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute and a consistently good academic record would be preferred.

Experience:

  • Post-qualification experience of 2 years in academic administration activities is essential.
  • Experience in an institute of national repute like IIMs or IITs will be a distinct advantage.

Job Profile:

  • The Candidate will be responsible for end to end programme coordination of any degree granting programme (MBA/Executive MBA/ Ph.D.) assigned to him/her.
  • Coordination with all stake holders such as students, faculties, internal departments and external agencies.
  • Time Management and planning to ensure the timely delivery of an academic matters/flawless execution of Programme.
  • Efficient and responsive communication with programme faculty and participants.
  • Time-table preparation for all the respective terms, online and on campus module as desired by Programme chair.
  • Attendance Management, assistance in conduct of exams, grading and collation.
  • Facilities bookings, classrooms and study material availability and allied coordination.
  • Maintaining the database & regular update and systematic filing of records.
  • Collecting, entering and collating course and instructorโ€™s feedbacks.
  • Preparation of letter such as invitation letters/bonafide based on studentโ€™s suitable requirements/expense bills and associated work etc. under the guidance of department head.
  • Terms registration of participants, event management support and convocation related work.
  • Website updation, preparing leaflets, policy and manuals etc.
  • In online Mode working on Moodle, Handling zoom a/cs and other academic software.
  • Assisting the Programme Office in its day-to-day operations/assisting in Accreditation & Ranking processes/any other duty assigned by department head related to academics as per requirement which may involve working on weekends if the need be.

Key Skills / Knowledge required:

  • Excellent use of MS-Office tools such as MS โ€“ Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Database management and other productivity tools is essential.
  • The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills & multi-tasking abilities and ability to interact with senior leadership.
  • The candidate may be tested on the Computer skills as required for the position during the interview process.
  • Positive attitude, a detail orientation and ability to interact with the senior leadership, Confident & self-motivated, should have a capability of being a team player and resourceful in managing challenges.

Duration:

  • The contract may be extended further based on performance / satisfactory discharge of duties and the Instituteโ€™s requirements.
  • If during or after completion of the contract period or at the time of joining the Institute finds the candidate suitable for any other role, the same may be offered to him/her. The institute reserves the right to depute the candidate to different job roles as per the instituteโ€™s requirements, which may arise from time to time

Salary & Benefits: The selected candidate will be offered a fixed-term appointment of two years on an IIM Nagpur contract on a consolidated monthly salary commensurate with qualificationsย and experience. In addition, the perks & allowances will be paid per Institute norms.
