Chemist (Class II) in HPGCL:
- M.Sc. (Chemistry) with 60% marks and one year experience in the Chemical stream in any Industry. OR
- B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) with 60% marks and one year experience in Chemical Streanr in any Industry
- Should have passed Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matlic standard or in Higher Education.
Age Limit ( As on 22 April 2024): The Candidate should not be less than 18 years old and not more than 42 years old.

Civil Judge:
- The candidate should have completed a Bachelor of Laws from a University established by law and approved or recognised by the Bar Council of India on or before the closing date, i.e. January 31, 2024.
- The expression “Degree of Bachelor of Laws” means a degree entitling a candidate to be enrolled as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961, and the rules made there.

Selection Process of HPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2024:
- The selection process for HPSC Job Vacancy will be based on the following three stages.
- The preliminary examination shall tentatively be conducted on 03 March 2024.
- Main Written Examination- Likely to be conducted in June -July 2024.
- Viva-Voce- To be announced late.
Preliminary Examination (for screening only):
- The Preliminary Examination shall be of an objective type with multiple-choice questions as distinguished from the Main Written Examination, which shall be of a subjective/narrative type.
- The question paper for the Preliminary Examination shall be of two hours duration. It shall consist of 125 questions, and each question shall carry 04 marks, and for every wrong answer, 0.8 marks, i.e., 20% or 1/5th mark, shall be deducted.
- The object of the Preliminary Examination is to shortlist candidates for the Main Examination. No candidate shall be allowed to appear in the Main Examination unless he/she secures a minimum of 150 marks (read 100 marks for all reserved category candidates excluding the EWS category) in the Preliminary Examination.

- It shall be conducted in English.

- The Preliminary and Main Written examinations will be held at centres to be notified in due course.
