Civil:
Junior Resident Engineer – Non-Executive:
- Minimum 60% marks in three years Engineering Diploma in Civil from a Govt. recognized University/Institute
- Experience: Minimum two years post – qualification work experience in the Civil Department
Electrical/RS:
Resident Engineer – Executive:
- Minimum 60% marks in degree in Bachelor in Electrical from a Govt. recognized University/Institute
- Experience: Minimum two years post – qualification work experience in the Civil Department
Junior Resident Engineer – Non-Executive:
- Minimum 60% marks in three years Engineering Diploma in Electrical from a Govt. recognized University/Institute
- Experience: Minimum two years post – qualification work experience in Electrical Department.
Finance:
Junior Resident Finance – Non-Executive:
- Minimum 60% marks in B.Com. from a Govt. recognized University/Institute
- Experience: Minimum 02 years post – qualification work experience in Finance/Accounting.
Architect:
Resident Engineer Architect – Executive:
- Minimum 60% marks/equivalent CGPA in Degree in Bachelor of Architecture from a Govt. recognized University/Institute and registration with Council of Architecture
- Experience: Minimum 05 years post-qualification work experience in the Architecture field
Junior Resident Architect – Non-Executive:
- Minimum 60% marks/equivalent CGPA in Degree or Diploma in Architecture from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute.

Safety:
Resident Engineer – Executive:
- B.E/B.Tech (from Civil/Mechanical / Electrical Engineering) along with a minimum of one-year duration full-time Degree/Diploma in Safety from a Govt. recognized University/Institution/body with a minimum 60% marks/equivalent CGPA (for both qualifications)
- Experience: Minimum 05 years post – qualification work experience in a relevant field
Design:
Resident Engineer – Executive:
- Minimum 60% marks/equivalent CGPA in B.E/B. Tech (Civil) from a Govt. recognized University/Institute
- Experience: Minimum 05 years’ post – qualification work experience in relevant field
Junior Resident Engineer – Non-Executive:
- Minimum 60% marks/equivalent in three years Engineering Diploma in Civil trade from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
- Experience: Minimum 02 years post – qualification work experience in a relevant field
Tenure of Engagement: The engagement shall be on fixed term contractual basis, initially for a period of three years, extendable as per requirement, at the sole discretion of DMRC, subject to mutual consent and satisfactory performance.
Age Limit (As on 01 September 2024):
- For Resident Engineer (Executive post): 18 – 32 years
- For Junior Resident Engineer (Non-Executive Post): 18 – 33 years
Age Relaxation of DMRC Careers:
- Age relaxation applicable as per the GOI rule
- Upper age relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates
- Upper age for Ex-servicemen will be length of service + 3 years, subject to a maximum age of 40 years.

Selection Process of DMRC Careers:
- The screening methodology will comprise of two-stage process
- Screening for non-Executive posts
- Interview for Executive posts, followed by Medical Fitness Examination by both.
- Candidates shall have to qualify/pass the Screening/Interview, as applicable, and the Medical examination, before being adjudged as suitable for selection.
