Educational Qualification:
Project Title: ICAR Norman Borlaug Award Challenge project “Development of high-value pharmacophores and nutraceutical products from marine macroalgae for human health management and combating lifestyle diseases.”
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- Essential: Minimum qualification of Master’s Degree in basic/natural discipline of Chemistry/Organic Chemistry with experience in research in chemical/chemistry laboratories supported by project document/s. The candidate should have hands-on experience in chromatographic/spectroscopic techniques.
- Desirable: Basic and applied knowledge of scientific analysis in chemistry/organic chemistry/chemical sciences.
- Duration of Post: Purely temporary for five years from the date of recruitment or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier
Age Limit (As on 27 April 2024):
- Men: 35 years
- Women: 40 years
Salary:
- Scholars selected through through NET-CSIR/UGC NET, including
lecturership or GATE [or] selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Govt departments and their agencies/institutions: Rs. 31,000/- per month + 18% HRA - Candidates who are not NET/CSIR-UGC qualified and do not fall under the above category: Rs. 25,000/- per month + 18% HRA
