CTET July 2020 โ€“ Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the 14th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET. The test will be conducted in 20 (Twenty) languages in 112 cities all over the country. The candidates with the background of Any Degree/Diploma/B.Ed are eligible to apply for this post. The written examination is conducted for CTET July 2020 exam. The written examination consists of two papers-Paper I & II. The Eligibility Certificate of each CTET is valid for 7 years from the date of declaration of the result. Eligible candidates can apply for this position online from 24 January to 24 February 2020. Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET Detailed Eligibility:

Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

  • Senior Secondary (or itโ€™s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or itโ€™s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or itโ€™s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). ORย 
  • Senior Secondary (or itโ€™s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or itโ€™s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET 2020 โ€“ Selection Process:

  • All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with fourย alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.
  • Each carrying one mark andย there will be no negative marking.
  • Duration of examination โ€“ Two-and-a-half hours for 150 Marks.
  • There will be two papers of CTET.
    (i) Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
    (ii) Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
  • The main question paper shall be Bilingual (Hindi/English).

Minimum Qualifying Marks:ย A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass.
