Detailed Eligibility – Assam Rifles Vacancy:
Educational Qualification:
Rifleman/Riflewoman: Matriculation from a recognized Board.
Sports Qualifications: Players who have participated in any International Competition/National Competitions/Inter-University Tournaments/National Sports/Games for Schools/Khelo India Univerity Games/ Khelo India Youth Games/Khelo India Winter Games/ Khelo India Para Games.
Age Limit (As on 01 August 2024):
- For Gen & OBC: 18 to 23 years (Candidates should have not been born earlier than 01 Aug 1996 and later than 01 Aug 2006)
- For SC & ST: 18 to 33 years (Candidates should have not been born earlier than 01 Aug 1991 and later than 01 Aug 2006)
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation for Gen/OBC is five years and SC/ST is ten years respectively.

Selection Process of Assam Rifles Vacancy 2024:
- The selection process includes Document Verification/PST/ Field Trial/Detailed Medical Examination.
- Final selection will be done based on achievements and performance in Field Trials and level of participation.
- The Final Selection will only be made based on position of the candidates in Merit List by the availability of vacancies in the respective sports discipline.
- The candidates in possession of valid call letters and photo 1D proof like Voter ID, Driving License, and Aadhaar Card will only be permitted to enter in the recruitment rally site.
- Initial Documentation:
- All candidates will have to undergo documentation, in which candidates will have to produce all original documents/certificates about age, education, caste (in case of availing age relaxation), sports and domicile/Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC).
- The candidates found correct in initial verification and documentation will only be permitted to undergo the Physical Standard Test and Field Trial.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): For PST refer to the official notification.
- Conduct of Field Trial: The Field Trial in all disciplines will be conducted by a Board of Officers at Rally site.
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME): The candidates who qualify in Field trials in their respective sports disciplines will undergo a Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
