APEDA Recruitment 2025: Assistant Manager

APEDA Recruitment 2025:  The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has announced a notification for the post of Assistant General Manager/Assistant Manager. There are a total of about six vacancies available for this post. Candidates with a qualification of B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/B.V.Sc/M.E/M.Tech are eligible to apply for the job. Assistant General Manager (Information Technology): 

• Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology from recognised University/Institution
• Five years of experience in the above fields post-acquiring the above educational qualification

Assistant Manager(Agriculture): 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Plantation/ Agriculture Engineering/ Agriculture and Cooperation/Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/Dairy Technology / Food Processing/ Food Processing Technology/ Food Technology/Food Science/Food Science and Technology from recognised University/Institution

Assistant Manager: 

• Bachelor’s/Under-graduate Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Plantation/ Agriculture Engineering/ Agriculture and Cooperation/Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/Dairy Technology / Food Processing/ Food Processing Technology/ Food Technology/Food Science/Food Science and Technology from recognised University/Institution

Age Limit (As on 01 December 2025): 

• Assistant General Manager (Information Technology): 35 years
• Assistant Manager(Agriculture): 30 years
• Assistant Manager: 30 years

Age Relaxation :

• OBC: 3 years
• PwD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date
• Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof: 3 years
• Employees working in APEDA holding posts on a regular basis with at least three years continuous service: 5 years

• Assistant General Manager (Information Technology): Rs. 56,100/- to 1,77,500/-

Selection Process of APEDA Jobs:

For Assistant General Manager (Information Technology):

• The selection will be made through a written test consisting of one paper of 100 marks followed by interview of shortlisted candidates (40 marks)

• Each objective type question will have four answer options and will carry one mark
• There will be 25% negative marking for every wrong answer for objective type question.
• The duration of test will be 3 hours
• Marking of answers on OMR answer sheet by pen. No books/materials will be allowed.
• Answers for descriptive to be given on descriptive answer booklet.

Interview:

• The qualifying marks to be obtained in the written test for short-listing of candidates for interview will be 60%
• The qualifying marks to be obtained in the interviews will be 60%
• The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in both the written test and interview.

For the post of Assistant Manager (Agriculture) and Assistant Manager:

• The selection will be made through a written test consisting of a single paper 2 ½ hours duration 100 marks as under:

• No books/materials will be allowed

Medium of Examination for all the posts:

• The paper shall be bilingual i.e. Hindi and English.
• The candidate may choose to write the paper either in English or Hindi as per his/her choice i.e., all the answers for the questions, if chosen to be attempted in Hindi, should be attempted in Hindi only.
• Similarly all the answers for the questions, if chosen to be attempted in English, should be attempted in English only
• The qualifying marks to be obtained in the written test for short-listing of candidates will be 60%.
• The written test will be held in centre(s) in Delhi NCR
