NICPR: The National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (NICPR) was initially established as the Cytology Research Centre (CRC) by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in 1979 and was elevated to the level of an Institute in 1989. It was granted national status in 2016, acknowledging its mandate and contributions towards cancer prevention. The institute has broadened its horizon to cater to the prevention of prevalent cancers in the country. The thrust areas of research include pre-cancer and cancers of the uterine cervix, breast and oral cancers.

Detailed Eligibility:
Name of the Project:ย Development of a Digital Malaria dashboard for easy and informative data retrieval from village to country.
Educational Qualification:
Project Scientist:
- 1st Class BE or B. Tech degree of 4 years in Computer Science/Information Technology OR
- 1st class M.Sc in Biostatistics/Public Health/Population studies/Bioinformatics/GIS and remote sensing including integrated PG degree OR
- 2nd class M.Sc in Biostatistics/Public Health/Population studies/Bioinformatics/GIS and remote sensing with PhD in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification:
- Good Knowledge of handling statistical tools (R, STATA Arc-GIS, Q-GIS, Python, etc.)
- Having web development experience
- Good Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
- Strong analytical knowledge and experience of 35 Years handling large datasets, especially related to community
- Experience in machine learning techniques and artificial indigence (AI)
- A publication record that demonstrates experience in conducting, analysing and reporting analytical and clinical research on infectious diseases.
- Understanding and interpreting complex research and scientific projects and communicating key messages to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
- A willingness to travel for meetings and events.
- Research experience in parasitology, epidemiology and surveillance of infectious diseases.
Project Technical Support:
- 1st Class BE or B. Tech degree of 4 years in Computer Science/Information Technology and three years experience in relevant field OR
- Sc in Biostatistics /Public Health /Population studies/Bioinformatics/GIS and remote sensing and three years relevant experience or PG in Biostatistics/Public Health/Population studies/Bioinformatics/GIS and remote sensing.
Desirable Qualification:
- Strong analytical knowledge and experience in handling large datasets.
- Knowledge of raster data, satellite data, LULC data
- Knowledge of handling statistical software (Arc-GIS, Q-GIS, R, STATA, Python, etc.)
- A willingness to travel for meetings and events.

- MBBS degree from a recognized university
- Scope of work: Community Screening for ะขะ, Diagnosis & Management, Coordination of Project activities, Leading Team.
Project Technical Support-II (X-ray Technician):
- 12th Pass in Science Subjects and Diploma in X-ray technician/Radiology/Radiography+ five years experience.
- B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.
- Scope of work: Use of hand-held X-ray machine for community screening for TB other works as assigned.
