Detailed Eligibility – UPSC EPFO Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognised university or institute
Provident Fund Commissioner:
- Degree from a recognised University or Equivalent.
- DESIRABLE: Diploma in Company Law/Labour Laws/Public Administration
Age Limit (As on 18 August 2025):
- Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer:
- 30 years for UR/EWSs,
- 33 years for OBCs,
- 35 years for SCs/STs and
- 40 years for PwBDs.
- Provident Fund Commissioner:
- 35 years for UR/EWSs,
- 38 years for OBCs,
- 40 years for SCs,
- 35 years for STs and
- 45 years for PwBDs.
Age Relaxation of UPSC EPFO Jobs:
- Upto five years for SC/ST candidates
- Upto three years for OBC candidates
- Upto ten years for PwBD candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
- The age limit is also relaxable for Regular Employees of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation upto Five years.

Selection Process of UPSC EPFO Careers:
- A pen & paper based Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) to shortlist the candidates for Interview for recruitment to the posts of Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officers and Assistant Public Provident Commissioner shall be conducted by the Commission.
- The date of examination will be intimated later on UPSC website
Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) :
Scheme:
- The test will be of two hours duration.
- Al questions will carry equal marks.
- The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answer.
- The medium of Question Paper is in English and Hindi except for those questions in English Language.
- There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.
Weightage:
- Weightage of Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) marks and interview marks will be in the ratio of 75:25 for determining the final merit in the instant recruitment cases.

- Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/-
- Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability are exempted from payment of fee.
