TNPSC Exams 2020 – Tamilnadu Government has announced the job notifications for the post of Assistant Director of Industries & Commerce (Technical)/ Assistant Superintendent (Chemical Wing) for 12 vacancies. Candidates with the qualification B.E/B.Tech in respective disciplines are eligible to apply for this job. The selection is based on the written examination and oral test. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC): In 1923 the Indian Government established a Public Service Commission. It is a department of the government of Tamil Nadu. Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification (as on 09.12.2019):

For Assistant Director of Industries & Commerce (Technical):

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree of any discipline except
    Civil engineering and Architectural Engineering And
  • Practical Experience in a factory or workshop for a period of not less than one year.

Note: The experience for the post of Assistant Director of Industries and Commerce (Technical) should have been obtained from a factory or workshop recognized by the
State Government / Central Government.

For Assistant Superintendent (Chemical Wing):

  • A Degree in Chemical Engineering (or) Associate Member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineering. And
  • Practical Experience for a period of not less than three years in a Research Institute or
    Engineering Workshop or Chemical Laboratory.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2019):

  • For SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all categories: No Maximum age limit
  • For Others: 35 Years (Should not have completed)

Post Wise Vacancies:

  • For Assistant Director of Industries & Commerce (Technical): 11 Posts
  • For Assistant Superintendent (Chemical Wing): 1 Post

  • Candidates must possess M.A.Degree in History or Indian History or in Tamil awarded by any of the University recognized by the University Grants Commission and Post Graduate Diploma in Epigraphy and Archaeology awarded by the institute of Epigraphy, Department of Archaeology, Government of Tamil Nadu or Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology awarded by the Archaeological Survey of India.
  • Must have passed Tamil as one of the subjects in Degree level.

  • Others: 18 to 30 years
