SSC CPO Recruitment 2025: Staff Selection Commission, Central Police Organization, has announced a notification for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). There are 3,073 openings for this post. Candidates with the qualification of a Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for SSC Careers. Detailed Eligibility – SSC Jobs:
Educational Qualification:
Sub-Inspectors:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- The candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply; however they must possess Essential Qualification on or before the cutoff date; i.e., 16.10.2025
- For Sub Inspector in Delhi Police Male only: Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT) to be eligible for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police.
Note: Departmental candidates amongst Constables, Head Constables and Assistant Sub-Inspectors of Delhi Police with minimum three years’ service and who shall not be more than 30 years (33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST) may also apply for filling up of Open and Departmental Vacancies of Sub- Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police-Male.
Age Limit(As on 01 August 2025): 20 to 25 years i.e. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.2000 and not later than 01.08.2005 to be eligible to apply
Age Relaxation of SSC Careers:

- Sub-Inspector (Executive) – (Male/Female) in Delhi Police: The post carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs. 35,400-Rs. 1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police.

Selection Process of SSC Jobs:
- The selection process is based on Computer Based Examinations, Physical Endurance Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examinations
Examination:
- Paper-I & Paper-II will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type
- Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts-I, II and III of Paper-I
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I & Paper-II.
- Marks scored by candidates in Computer Based Examination will be normalized by using the formula published by the Commission through Notice

Medical Examinations:
- All the candidates who qualify in Paper-II will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade-I of any Central/ State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary.
- Review Medical Examination(RME) of the candidates, who are found to be unfit during Detailed Medical Examination(DME), will be conducted in continuation of DME preferably on the next day of DME.
