Project Name:ย Strengthening the capacities of municipal officials to integrate Inclusive Green Economy (IGE) policies and principles at the municipal and state level in the state of Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh under the PAGE initiative
Programme Associate:
- Masterโs degree or Post Graduate diploma in Environmental Planning & Management, Urban Planning & Management, Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Environmental Engineering, Public Policy or equivalent.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 2โ4 years of working experience in projects related to sustainable development, urban management, environment management, master planning and regional planning.
- Expertise in urban and environmental research, analytics, and capacity building.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic knowledge of online learning platforms is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging with government bodies is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
Research and documentation:
- Conduct primary and secondary research independently or collaboratively within the team on IGE-related topics relevant to the training material.
- Develop case studies on the topics pertinent to the training material.
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation of all activities and correspondence related to the project components.
- Provide regular updates to Senior Programme Associate and Project Leads.
Capacity Building Support:
- Support the planning and organization of the Training of Trainers (ToT) and Dissemination Workshops, including coordination with the state training institution or other partners.
- Assist in uploading training materials to the National Urban Learning Platform (NULP), providing backend technical support and user documentation.
Duration of Engagement:ย 3 Months starting from 15 September 2024 or coterminous with the project completion date, whichever is later
