- Graduation in science with minimum 50% and with two Subjects out of Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology as main subjects in graduation and B.Ed degree from a recognized University/ four years integrated degree course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. [or]
- Hons Graduation with Chemistry/Botany/ Zoology as a main subject in all three years of graduation along with above mentioned other two subjects in any of the two years of the course with at least 50% marks in aggregate and a B.Ed degree from a recognized University / four years integrated degree course with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
