Detailed Eligibility for RVNL Careers:
Educational Qualifications:
Site Engineer (Telecom):
- B.E./B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 50% marks.
- Minimum 07 years of post-qualification experience in Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) project execution and network management. Out of the above, at least 04 years of hands-on experience in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of Fiber Optic Networks.
Desirable/Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with GIS, ABD, RFMS and Network Management Systems (NMS).
- Working knowledge of OTDR, Power Meters, Fusion Splicers and Visual Fault Locators (VFL).
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic network monitoring / reporting tools.
Note: Internship / Apprenticeship / Training / Teaching / Academic / Freelancing experience shall not be treated as qualifying experience.
Tenure: Engagement shall be purely on contract basis for an initial period of one (01) year, extendable up to three (03) years based on project requirement and satisfactory performance.
Age Limit (As on 19.12.2025): 40 years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation shall be applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST / OBC (NCL) /PwBD / Ex-Servicemen.
