RRI Recruitment 2023 notification announced for the Administrative Posts (Assistants) on Direct Recruitment basis. There is 12 vacancies available for the post. Candidates with the qualification of Bachelor’s Degree/B.Sc/Graduate/12th are eligible to apply for the job. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online. About RRI: The Raman Research Institute was founded in 1948 by the Indian physicist and Nobel Laureate, Sir C V Raman, to continue his studies and basic research after he retired from the Indian Institute of Science. Sir C V Raman served as its director carrying on his personal research until his demise in 1970. It was funded personally by him and with donations from private sources. The lands, buildings, deposits, securities, bank deposits, money, laboratories, instruments, and all other movable and immovable properties held by the Academy for the Raman Research Institute were transferred to the RRI Trust. The foremost function of the RRI Trust was to maintain, conduct and sustain the Raman Research Institute.

Administrative Posts

Assistant Security Officer:

Ex-serviceman JCO (Naib Subedar of ARMY or higher rank or its equivalent in Navy and Airforce) OR equivalent rank in other paramilitary forces with a minimum of 10 years of experience
Bachelor Degree

Desirable:

Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S Word, Excel, Power point, ERP
Diploma in Security and Fire Fighting related subjects and/or training in these areas
Experience of working in research/academic Institutes in the relevant field
Basic knowledge of Law

Assistant Canteen Manager:

Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with at least 05 years experience in hotels /hostels of Educational Institute / Guest Houses of Public Sector Undertaking / Government Organization etc.
Desirable: Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S Word, Excel, Power point, ERP

Assistant:

Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience in a central government organization / PSU/ Autonomous body in General Administration/Purchase/Accounts related matters

Desirable:

Exposure in computerized working environment
Good communication skills – both verbal and written in Hindi, English and Kannada

Assistant – I:

Must be qualified 10+2 examination
Desirable: Ability to read, write and speak Hindi, English and Kannada

Duration: The appointments are on regular basis with a probation period of 2 years

Upper Age Limit ( As on 4 December 2023 ):

Assistant Security Officer: 50 years
Assistant Canteen Manager: 30 years
Assistant: 28 years
Assistant – I: 28 years

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be applicable as per Govt. of India rules

Salary:

Assistant Security Officer: Pay Level 7 (As per 7th CPC)
Assistant Canteen Manager: Pay Level 6 (As per 7th CPC)
Assistant: Pay Level 4 (As per 7th CPC)
Assistant – I: Pay Level 2 (As per 7th CPC)

Selection Process:

The selection process will be based on a Written test
The examination will be conducted in two stages. Stage-1: Written test – Objective & Stage-2: Written test – Descriptive
The candidates will be shortlisted for Stage-2 examination based on the score obtained in Stage-1 examination
Descriptive test / skill test will be based on the domain knowledge required to carry out the functional role related to the post
Call letters to attend the written test will be sent to the candidates only by e-mail.
