Detailed Eligibility for RPCAU Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Project Title: Introgression of QTL(s) for increasing grain Dimethylarsenic acid (DMA) concentration in mega varieties of rice
Project Associate-I:
- Essential:
- Master’s in Agricultural Biotechnology/Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/Biotechnology/Plant Breeding & Genetics/Biochemistry or any other branch of Agricultural or Natural Sciences with minimum 60% marks (6.0 grade point on a scale10).
- Candidate should have cleared CSIR/UGC NET including (Assistant Professorship) or passed the National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST norms.
- Desirable:
- Preference will be given to candidate having working experience on rice genetics, Marker Assisted Breeding and gene expression studies.
- The candidate having working experience in rice field as well as laboratory will be preferred.
Duration:
- The above position is purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis with a co-terminus with the project.
- The post will be offered initially for one year or till termination of the project whichever is earlier and further extendable based on periodic review and satisfactory performance for the remaining period of the project.
Age Limit(As on 04 September 2024): Maximum 35 years

- NET qualification or PhD degree in the discipline mentioned above and quality publications are required.

- Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA consolidated for 1st and 2nd years
