Educational Qualification:

Technical Assistant:

• First Class Diploma in relevant disciplines from a recognised State Board.

• Matric (SSC /SSLC / 10th Std. Pass) plus ITI / NTC / NAC in relevant trades from NCVT

Age Limit (as on 31 October 2025): 18 – 35 years

Age Relaxation:

• Age relaxation of 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC (NCL) candidates) in upper age limit shall be allowed to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) in case of direct recruitment to all civil posts/services under the Central Government identified suitable to be held by persons with such disabilities.
• Persons with Benchmark disabilities are those whose disability (ies) is/are 40% or above.

Selection Process of Physical Research Laboratory Careers:

• The selection process will be based on the Written Test plus Skill Test (Curriculum-Based)
• There will be an initial screening based on the online application.
• The criteria for screening will be decided vis-à-vis the number of total applications or any other criteria as decided by PRL
• A Written Test will be conducted at Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Abu Road (Rajasthan) and Udaipur (Rajasthan).
• The call letters for written test will be sent only to the registered e-mail ID of candidates.
• The Written Test will be of one and half hours duration.
