Educational Qualification:

CPL(A) Holders to CPL (H):

  • The incumbent should possess current & valid CPL (A) issued by DGCA, India. Hence, it shall be deemed that they have met the prescribed educational qualification viz having passed 10+2 in Science with Physics, Mathematics and English or its equivalent from any recognized Board with 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ST candidates)

General Manager:

HR & Admin:

  • Essential:ย MBA or P.G. Degree / Two years Diploma in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from a recognized University / Institution

Operations:

  • Essential: Should have held CHPL / ATPL (H) and at least 5000 hours of Helicopter Flying out of which 3000 hours as PIC + IR and should have minimum 20 hours of night flying experience

Flight Safety:

  • Essential:ย 
    • The Company endorses the CHPL / ATPL License for helicopter operations.ย  [or]
    • An aircraft engineer with an AME license is endorsed for the helicopter operated by the company.ย  [or]
    • Should be a Helicopter Pilot/Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with Safety Experience with or without flying / medical category.ย  ย [or]
    • Engineering Degree in Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics, Electronics & Communication or equivalent from a recognized University with Safety Experience

Experience:

  • Candidate should have a minimum of 15 (fifteen) years experience in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management/administration of operations/Incident Investigation and Safety Audit in a large and reputed organization, out of which at least 2 (two) years should be at the equivalent next below grade in a large & reputed organization in the grade of Rs. 90,000 โ€“ 2,40,000 or equivalent. (Candidates working in the Private Sector or working on a contract basis should have an Annual CTC of a minimum of Rs. 19.36 lakh).
  • Experience in the Aviation Industry is desirable.

Assistant Manager:

Salary Details:

CPL(A) Holders to CPL (H):ย 

  • During type training and till endorsement on their licence by DGCA., the candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs. 15,000/- p.m.
  • On successful endorsement of type on their licences, they will be paid Basic Pay of E-0 grade, i.e. Rs. 30,000/-
  • The Pilots would be entitled to draw emoluments of Associate Helicopter Pilot Level-I equivalent to E-0 grade on a contract basis @ Rs.1,50,000/- pm with effect from the date they are fit to fly PHL helicopter subject to suitability.

General Manager:ย 

  • Rs. 1,00,000/- plus DA, HRA & other perquisites at applicable rates
  • Equivalent to E-7 Grade (Rs. 1,00,000 โ€“ 2,60,000)
  • Approx. Yearly Emoluments (CTC) โ€“ Rs. 24.10 lakh.

Jt. General Manager:

  • Rs. 90,000/- plus DA, HRA & other perquisites at applicable rates
  • Equivalent to E-6 Grade (Rs. 90,000 โ€“ 2,40,000)
  • Approx. Yearly Emoluments (CTC) โ€“ Rs. 21.73 lakh.

Selection Process of Pawan Hans Careers:

CPL(A) Holders to CPL (H):

  • The selection process will be based on interviews.
  • The appointment of individuals under the Scheme will be through a direct recruitment process per the Companyโ€™s rules.
  • The selected candidates should be able to fund the full cost of the training for converting their CPL(A) to CPL (H) and type conversion training to acquire endorsement on the Licence to be qualified to fly helicopter operated by PHL.
  • The selected candidates shall have to submit a Bank Guarantee or FDR in the name of an individual having a lien in the name of Pawan Hans Limited or execute a Service Agreement bond along with two sureties for a sum of Rs 25.50 Lakhs (Rupees twenty-five Lakhs and fifty thousand only) for undergoing the Pilot training to obtain CPL (H) and necessary endorsement on their Licences and to serve PHL for 10 years.
  • The selected candidate will undergo an Orientation Programme for 7 days at the PHL Corporate Office, Noida.
  • The selected candidates will have to deposit the Course Fee in advance in a phased manner.
  • The selected pilots will be sent to the authorized training centre to undergo Type Conversion Training to obtain an endorsement on the CPL(H) to fly an on-type helicopter operated by PHL.
  • The selected candidates will be issued with a Letter of Intent (LOI) for employment after obtaining CPL(H).

For other posts:

  • The selection process will be based on interviews.
  • Candidates called for the interview should produce all original documents, including proof of qualification/s, experience, pay/CTC, reservation, etc., at the time of interview
  • Candidates employed in Central / State Government, CPSEs Autonomous Bodies, etc, are required to submit their application through the proper channels or produce NOC at the time of the interview.

Educational Qualification:



Associate Helicopter Pilot:

  • Helicopter Pilots holding CHPL / ATPL (H) with endorsement on Dauphin-N, Dauphin-N3, Mi-172, AS-350B3 & Bell-407 helicopters. Preference will be given to Examiners & Instructors.
  • Desirous qualified / licensed SPO Qualified Indian / Expat Pilots holding current & valid license with endorsement on AS-350B3 & Bell-407 helicopters may also apply.
  • Desirous qualified/licensed Indian / Expat Pilots holding current & valid license with endorsement on Mi-172, AS-350B3, Bell-407 Sikorsky S-76D & S-76C++ helicopters may also apply.
  • The appointment of Expat pilots will, however, be subject to approval of Competent Authority as per the Government of India / DGCA Rules.

Contract Period:ย For a duration of 5 years which can be extended further in view of organisational requirement and individualโ€™s suitability to the post and utility to the organisation.

Salary Details:

  • The package emoluments for Associate Helicopter Pilots ranges from Rs. 1.50 lakh to Rs. 4.50 lakh.
  • Pilots joining PHL with holding CHPL/ATPL and having flying experience on helicopters but not holding endorsement on PHL type of helicopters will be offered emoluments as per approved rates as follows:
    • Stipend @ Rs. 15,000 per month during MCF period as Retention Pay
    • ย On their successfully passing DGCA Exam or OEM Exam, they will be allowed emoluments equivalent to Basic Pay.
    • They will, however, be entitled for fixed monthly emoluments as per revised AHP Scheme pursuant to their commencing revenue flying for the Company.
  • In addition to fixed monthly emoluments, the Associate Helicopter Pilots would be entitled for
    • ATPL Holders โ€“ Rs. 2,000 per month
    • ATPL Holders being utilized in the Company for flying helicopters requiring ATPL โ€“ Rs. 7,500 per month
    • Type Rated Examiners (TREs) โ€“ Rs. 15,000 per month
    • Type Rated Instructors (TRIs) โ€“ Rs. 10,000 per month
    • Check Pilots โ€“ Rs. 7,500 per month
    • Managerial Allowance โ€“ Rs. 20,000 per month, if applicable.
    • Other specific allowances like Risk Allowance etc shall be paid, wherever applicable.
  • Single Pilot Operations (SPO) qualified pilots on PHL type of helicopter would be admissible for SPO Allowance @ Rs. 30,000 per month i.e. Rs. 1,000 for each day of flying as single pilot operation.
