Detailed Eligibility – Palwal District Court Jobs:
Educational Qualification:
Clerk:
- Candidates who possess a degree of Bachelor of Arts/ Science/ Commerce or equivalent thereto from a recognized university and has passed matriculation examination with Hindi as one of the subject.
- He must have proficiency in operation of computers.
Stenographer Grade-III:
- Candidates who possess a degree of Bachelor of Arts/ Science/ Commerce or equivalent from a recognized university and have computer proficiency (Word Processing and Spread Sheets).
- The candidate has to pass a test at a speed of 80 W.P.M. in English Shorthand and 20 W.P.M. in Transcription of the same
Drive:
- The Candidates should be at least Middle Pass with Punjabi/Hindi as one of the subject.
- The candidate should possess a valid license for L.T.V.
- The candidate should not have been convicted for any offence for negligent driving.
- The candidate should have at least two years of car experience.
- The applicant should possess a requisite experience certificate in this regard.
Duration: Initially for a period of six months or till regular appointments for the above-said posts are made by the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, whichever is earlier
Age Limit (As on 01 January 2024): The minimum age limit of a candidate for appointment to the aforesaid posts shall be 18 years and the upper age limit shall be 42 years

Selection Process of Palwal District Court Vacancy:
Clerk(s):
- The Selection for the post of Clerk will be made based on a written examination in subjects of (i) English Composition and (ii)
General Knowledge, consisting of 50 marks each. - No candidate shall be considered for appointment unless he/she obtains 40% marks in aggregate (33% qualifying marks in each subject) in the written examination.
- The candidates who would qualify the prescribed written test, shall be called for Computer Proficiency Test.
- The candidates will have to qualify Computer Typing Test in English at the speed of 30 w.p.m.
Stenographer Gr.III:
- Candidates for the post of Stenographer Grade-III will have to qualify the English Shorthand Test and its Transcription at the speed of 80
w.p.m. and 20 w.p.m. respectively on Computer. - The candidates will also have to qualify a Computer Proficiency Test.
Driver:
- By conducting Written Test, Driving Test & Interview (as per the decision of Selection Committee) to check the practical knowledge of driving skill/rules/signs.
- Final selection shall be based on driving skill test and Interview.
