NIDM Recruitment 2023: The National Institute of Disaster Management NIDM has entered into a tie-up with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) to conduct the process of recruitment for filling the posts of Assistant Professor/Librarian/Research Associate post on Direct Recruitment basis. There are a total of 12 vacancies to be filled for NIDM Jobs. Interested candidates who completed their B.Tech/ Master’s Degree. Detailed Eligibility for NIDM Jobs:
Educational Qualification:
Assistant Professor:
Essentials: Master’s Degree with 55% marks in Social Sciences/ Environmental/ Earth Science/ Engineering/ Disaster Management or allied subjects with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent in Master’s Degree with consistent good academic record.
Desirable: M.Phil or Ph.D. in the concerned or allied disciplines. Contribution to innovation education, new curricula and course design, training modules, and technology-mediated teaching-learning process.
Research Associate:
Essentials:
- A Master’s Degree in Economics/ Physiology/ Psychology/ Sociology/ Mathematics/ Political Science/ Public Administration/ Law/ Bio Informatics/ IT/ Earth Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/Urban Planning and Land Use, the relevant field with at least 55% marks or equivalent grading.
- Two years of research experience in the relevant field.
Desirable: Ph.D./ M. Phil in the relevant discipline.
Librarian:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognized University or Institute.
- Proficiency in Computer Applications in library functioning.
- Minimum two years of experience in library operation.
Age Limit(As of 1 July 2023):
- Assistant Professor: 35 years
- Librarian/Research Associate: 30 years

Selection Process for NIDM Jobs:
The selection process will be based on a Written Test/ Personal Interaction. In case of a small number of applicants, the written examination will be held at various centres in Delhi only. In case of many applicants, the written examination will be held at various centres in India.
